The TBRI Georgia Collaborative began with a handful of practitioners in Rome who kept meeting the same truth in different rooms: the children who struggle most are not broken, they are hurt, and healing runs through the adults around them. Today the Collaborative connects trained practitioners, champions, and practicing organizations across all fourteen DFCS regions, from school districts and foster agencies to churches and courtrooms.
We exist to do three things: train the adults in children's lives, connect the people doing the work so no one carries it alone, and help organizations build cultures where felt-safety is the norm rather than the exception.

Anyone in Georgia who cares for or works with children who have experienced relational trauma: foster and adoptive parents, kinship caregivers, teachers, caseworkers, counselors, ministry leaders, judges, and the organizations they serve in.
No. Caregiver series and Introductions to TBRI are open to everyone. Some sector workshops and the annual Practitioner Training are for professionals and are noted on the calendar.
Practitioners are trained through an annual cohort in Rome. People are recommended by practitioners already in the network and invited to apply. The Start your journey page walks through each step.
Costs vary by training and are shown on each event page. Seats are held with a deposit and the balance is invoiced before the training. Organizations sending a group can be invoiced directly.
